E-field values from HFSS

Hello all,
perhaps you could help me with a question I have. I have created a design, according to my specifications, and after it is solved I am plotting the E field (in all dimensions and in many coordinate systems)... I expect and suppose that these values (that give the green, red etc coloration in the graphical interface) are somewhere stored in the solutions files in a file, as well as info about meshing etc. Since, all files in the results folder (even if opened with notepad) are not exactly user-friendly, does anyone perhaps know, which of these files (if any) correspond to the values of the E-fields of a design? I am thinking/trying to take this file and use it in another (mathematical or design) to clarify some things about my results.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance. :D

I have tried to extract the EM fields value from HFSS. The most simple one is to define a straight line, circle line or other splines on which the fields are interested. And then plot the fields along that line. Finally, in the result plotting, choose "export to file.."
Hello again
thx for your answer... But this is only over one line, or on a surface right?
What if i need some sort of ( I am not sure what I am looking for!), let'say 3-D matrix over an area?
