planar circular spiral inductors

I am simulating circular spiral inductor ,
but why the simulation speed is so slow.
Is the mesh set question or other.... ?
Does anyone have same experience ?

It depends on which EM simulator you are using...
for Planar Spiral Inductors use Planar 3D EM simulator such as Sonnet which has Conformal mesh option which saves time & memory as copared to Triagular or rectangular mesh...

If you are using 3D EM simulators such as HFSS, definitely it will take longer times & also you need to take care in meshing & other options to get accurate results...

I have used Agilent ADS...I don't good results, but simulates quickly...I never had a chance to use IE3D, based on their published data looks it can address your problem...!
