It really depends on what you are trying to simulate. ADS is extensive and you need to be specific about what you are trying to accomplish. ADS has a lot of example projects that you can look though.
some of the examples that are included in Ads are usefull.examine them carefully and you will find out. you can also download some lectures and additional examples from Agilent technologies site, but you need a password in order to download them. A simple user can't do it
There is also the ADS Application web site, which contains a variety of material based on the type of design (amplifier, mixer, osc, etc...). It doesn't require a login. http://eesof.tm.agilent.com/applications/
Agilent has lot of example & tutorials on all Analog, RF, Microwave & millimeterwave application in the installation folder & on website
when u open ADS, it has a pop-up window and at the bottom there got a "quick start manual". maybe u can learn it from there.
