2D Microstrip Simultations w/ HFSS or Other Software?

I'd like to do a 2D cross section simulation of some non-standard transmission lines,

basically your standard strip and ground plane w/ dielectric microstrip, and then a funky experimental design to compare it to.

I'd like to compare the characteristic impedance vs frequency in each case.

I have alot of HFSS experience, but have never done a purely 2D model, I have created a 2D model but I get an error that it wants "Solve Inside" set, but of course 2D objects don't have the check box under its properties for solve inside..


Is there another software package anyone can recommend to accomplish this? A way to do it with HFSS?
