How to add MEMS switches in IE3D ?

I'm trying to use IE3D to do some simulation on MEMS switches-based structures. But I don't know how to add MEMS switches in IE3D or how to simulate the performance corresponding to MEMS switch's height change.

I tried to build 2 layers and apply "add via to edges" to form MEMS switch, but it seems that this way does not work!

Has anyone met this problem before?

You can send your structure to support@zeland.com and the engineers will help you. You should be able to use the command "ADD VIA ON EDGES" to form a short circuit for the switch. Anyway, there are many possibilities and you should contact support@zeland.com on it. Regards.
