hfss edit sources
I have some questions about ansoft HFSS11!
I am trying to simulate a stacked patch antenna use dual probe port. But when I set phase for 2 ports, at any values of phase I always receives same results( S11, Gain, AR...). I don't know why? .Who can tell me about edit sources in HFSS?

It has to be like this.
Do you know how a simulation is done when you have more than one port? Just like how the S-parameter is defined. all other ports will be matched except for the one it is calculating the S-parameter (S11, S12, S13 ... etc). When this calculation is finished it takes other port as driving port and all other are matched. Therefore, there would be no change in your S-parameter result with respect to your "edit source".
Now the question comes, why do we need to edit source then? Good question!
With "edit sources" you can see the overall E-field/H-fied/Current distribution, radiation pattern etc. but not overall S-parameter. For getting overall S-parameter, you need to connect the feeding network that provides the correct phase and amplitude to your patch feed. This network can be desined in HFSS or you can use other circuit simulator.
