Grounding the enclosure
someBooks says there is no need to groun the enclosure (isolated, no penetration) as far as shielding effectiveness is concerned. And i see currents in enclosure having seams in simulation like in Feko.
So i want to know if grounding the enclosure will reduce that current and what effect will it have on shielding.
and secondly some feko expert tell me how i can ground the enclosure in feko
i used ground plane but it makes the whole face ground plane which is not practical.
looking forward to receiving help

Are u asking for earthing of Enclosure
In Earthing Equipotential Earthing is good
For grounding of enclosure better way connect enclosure to system ground through Y2 class capacitor
Regarding your FEKO question:
FEKO supports an infinite groundplane. If you don't want your box to have one whole side lying in the groundplane, then shift it incrementally upwards, above the groundplane, and connect it it specific points with short wire segments.
Note that FEKO supports the loading of wire segments with arbitrary lumped impedances, therefore one could make these connections PEC, or capacitive. The latter was suggested by vaibhav.k.
Dear cem_user
can u tell me in detail of this technique in FEko of grounding an enclosure trough capacitive loading instead a ground plane.
thanks
