Any company taking the AXIEM-Challenge?

This is interesting: "If AXIEM isn't faster than in-house commercial, competitive 3D planar EM tool, AWR will buy lunch for the whole design team."

"Faster" is somtimes difficult to qualify in EM simulation. Please share your experience here.

Usually an "in-house" EM software tool is chosen because it provide reliable results, is accurate and is fast. It's not only about speed, or we would just use circuit theory tools all the time.

I am always a little skeptical when something is only advertised to be "Fast." There are other very important things to consider, like "accuracy." I didn't see anything in the Axiem Challenge about that. Only fast.

If you have a PEEC-based EM code, you could get a free lunch! I think PEEC is faster than the MoM technique used in Axiem (but I haven't taken the challenge.)
