Doubt on Metamaterial

hi all
i have designing a CRLH transmission line and simulating in IE3D i got S11 and S21 characteristics using the characteristic graph how to know whether my transmission line is acting as left handed transmission line or Right handed transmission line

Simulate one unit cell of TL.

Then convert the S-parameters for the unit cell into ABCD parameters.

Find the dispersion diagram for the unit cell using the equation

cos(gamma*d) = (A+D)/2

Plot Beta versus frequency. When df/dB is negative, it is acting as LH-TL.
When df/dB is positive it is acting as RH-TL.

infact you should compare sing of B and df/dB, if they have opposite signs, your structure acts as a MM structure.
