Gain of a 2.45 GHz patch antenna on FR4?

Dear friend Directivity (Gain) is dependent on the effective area as well as the size of the ground plane for a given frequency. Ofcourse FR4 is more lossy than Rogers for instance, the more the er the more the loss as frequency increases
