Problem with points of triagle connections in FEKO 5.5 model
Can you please attach the model itself?
In general triangles are considered to be connected (and providing currents flow) when they have common edge. When they are just touching by common vertex they are not connected and currents do not flow from one triangle to another.
Small wire-segments can be applied instead between connected triangles - but this will need cutting of triangle corners a litle bit.
If you will try to produce the real piece of such antenna triangle corners will have some finite thickness - it is also possible to include this thickness into the model, but it will require finer mesh at the connection point.
Sure, there is model.
Main problem at the moment is that the current does not flow across meshing edge between triangles. The same I have if the structure is not a mesh but an original geometry - the four triangles are input initially to form a mesh-like structure. The model validation displaying free edges indicates OK - no free edges inside mesh. Any idea to get out of this? Thanks a lot.
