Electrical Conductivity

Hello everyone

I need to simulate a slotted waveguide antenna and I'm using CST MWS. My problem is that I have constructed the antenna with anozided aluminum and I don't know its electrical conductivity. In my version of CST MWS I can only find aluminium and that makes a 2 dB diference between simulation and real life
Can anyone tell me the electrical conductivity of the anozided aluminum, please? I've searched on the web and couldn't found it.

Thank you all

Why don't measure it by yourself?

You could find a bar of anozided aluminum (it is used principally to make the windows..) then you have to measure the resistance with for example a weatstone bridge. After find the resistance you can invert this formula R=rho*l/A where rho=1/conductivity l is the length of the bar and A is the area section.

Anodized alauminium is pure aluminium covered with a thin layer of aluminium oxyde. In contrast to pure aluminium, the surface conductivity can be expected corrosion-resistant and thus long-term stable.

You should simply calculate with pure aluminium resistivity and an increased roughness.

For a very exact calculation, you may want to know the exact alloy composition, because technical aluminium is mostly an alloy containing e.g. parts of magnesium or silicium for better machinability. But this point hasn't to do with anodizing.
