Dear all,
Plz help me solve this question.Just let me know how shall i proceed to solve the query
If the electric field intensity is given by
E = (xUx + yUy + zUz)volt/m, the potential difference betn X(2,0,0) and Y(1,2,3) is ?

Regards,
is this ur homework? :D
You should know that E = - gradient V
If E(x,y,z) = [x,y,z]
then is quite simple to not need solve a differential equation.
Is easy to see what V(x,y,z) = V0 - (x^2+y^2+z^2)/2
V0 is a constant that disappears when you do the subtraction.
yeah exactly dear.hence looking for the way to get the solution.
