Importing File To HFSS

Hi,

I am working on simulation of human brain, so I need to import a file to HFSS, the file is a .mat file (MATLAB). is there any way to do this?

I do not think that .mat file is importable in HFSS as it is. You can control HFSS through Matlab. In that way you can generate your Geometry in HFSS via Matlab and simulate and optimize it aswell. Try to search 'Controlling HFSS with matlab' and you will find useful information fro there.

Actually was working on exporting this multilayer image (<256x256x128 double> matrix) to a .DXF file and use AutoCAD first but I will search for Controlling HFSS with matlab right now.

.DXF file is importable in HFSS. If you can convert your .mat file into .DXF file easily then i would suggest you to go for it as it will take less time and easily importable in HFSS.
The second way which i told you will take longer time but once you are through it,your desgin will be much more flexible and you will be able to optimize your strucutre in a more efficent way. If you do not find anything useful on this topic. Do post here, i will upload some useful documents and examples here aswell for you!

I Finally got the Model in 3ds max, and i'm trying to import it to HFSS, but it's not working i don't know why,there are some problems, can anyone help me?
