Amplitude compenstaion in time reversal in lossy media

If a gaussian pulse( EM wave) is transmitted through a lossy media, there is amplitude attenuation and phase dispersion. If the signal is time reverse or phase conjugated at the receiver and then retransmitted back into the dispersive medium, there is further amplitude attenuation. This affects the time reversal detection accuracy. Can anyone help to show mathematically how to process the signal received at the receiver before it is time reversed/phase conjugated so that by the time it is on the back propagation, it would have retained its original amplitude. This is important so that the time reversal process would not be broken. Help.

Please help me to solve this , it is urgent for a time reversal work I am doing in lossy media. Please suggest an experimental set up that can be mathematically explained
