SCALING FACTOR in HFSS
Read the HFSS help... It answers this well
Have Fun...
ok thx now ive got to know the meaning of the scaling factor.
but one more thing i want to know that lets say i have 9 waveguides, which are placed side by side and their walls are almost touching each other.like this:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
So wat i want is that i should only assign waveport to the waveguide no.5
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
and it should propagate the waves in waveguides 1 2 3 4 from the left and should propagate the waves in waveguides 6 7 8 9 from the right.
because once i assign waveport to only waveguide no. 5 , then in the animation run in HFSS i see that the waves are just exciting the wguide no.5.
so wat shud be the value of the scaling factor in this case?
