how do i go about setting up the the simulation of an electromagnet: coil wound around a steel core?
a plot of the flux density is needed, specially at the poles.
the coil has about 700 turns. do i model it as is or just approximate as a hollow cylinder?
what kind of solution does this need? magnetostatic or something else? pls. advise. thanks.
