What is the dielectric loss of the insulating material used in CAT-6 UTP cables?
I can only find insertion loss in dB in google results, I could not find any webpage or product page stating the insulating material's dielectric loss tangent.
I want to run a channel simulation with a UTP CAT-6 cable + 2 PCBs + transceiver models. I am modelling the cable as a lossy transmission line but I need to provide a realistic dielectric loss value. Ideally I would use an S-parameter model (16-port) of the cable, but I couldnt have found a model like that on the internet.
Please don't reply I you have no answer to my original question, or if you only have answer about where to find INSERTION loss (instead of DIELECTRIC LOSS TANGENT) values. Since insertion loss is NOT what I am looking for.

In a first order estimation, dielectric losses are not much affecting the overall losses of coaxial and twistd pair cables. The measured insertion loss as well as time domain behavior is ruled by conductor skin effect losses with the respective sqrt(f) characteristic. Unfortunately, most lossy transmission line models (except for the Aplac simulator) are not representing these losses correctly.
so, what value should i use to MODEL the cable in the channel?
