Hello EDAboard members,
I would like to know how should we really decide the crossectional area of the copper wire used in transformer for a particular current. Basically the relation between area of crossection and the amount of current it can carry, without being getting burned.
Thanks in advance,

A=I/J, I is Irms, J is A/mm*mm, normally we select 3-5A/mm*mm for transfomer, so you can get A which is diameter of wire.
