Extracting S parameter model in HyperLynx

Hi,



while extracting S parameter model from HyperLynx,

1. what it mean the Reference Impedance? Typical for Channel / connector, Typical for de coupling, Custom ? I used Typical for Channel / connector. Is it correct?

2. What about Frequency Sweeping parameters? (Linear or Log or Adaptive)? I used Linear with 1000 points.



Can anyone help me by explaining the above?
