Does Poisson Superfish apply median-plane symmetry to cylindrically symmetric rf problems (or can it do so)?
When I was introduced to the program, I was told that this symmetry was incorporated, but I've not seen anything in the documentation supporting that assertion. On the other hand, a number of the example geometries I've seen for rf problems do specify only half of the overall cavity in the input file for Automesh; am I to gather that this is just a shortcut, which gives the same result as for the full cavity geometry because the symmetry plane "looks" the same as a metal plate?
