Problem with the layout on Ansoft Designer

Ansoft DESIGNER
The layout is seen all black. there is nothing. I don't know why the layout is all black.
please help me

when i click on the "edit layout" button then the openning layout window is black.

you have not mentioned which version of designer you are using

I use Ansoft Designer 3.5, my operating system is Ubuntu 10.04

Wow...that is really old version. They are currently at version 6.1 and if you can i would suggest you upgrade. You may also want to ensure you OS is supported as I do not know whether all flavors of Linux are supported.

Where could I get Ansoft Designer 6 linux version?
