Transient of Rc circuit in Pspice 16
here is my circuit design and simulation settings
but it doesn"t show me the right answer.
what is my mistake?
Hi,
what is the right answer? ... in your eyes...
I think it shows the right answer.
Klaus
I believe I see the answer in my eyes, too. Or in front of my eyes.
What voltage is the capacitor charged to at the very beginning? It looks as though it is the same as the supply V, rather than 0V.
Hello and Thanks for your replay
As I know the capacitor voltage should be same as here
it because of capacitor tries to be charge to max value of input volatge not exactly the same as input voltage
Did you set the capacitor charge to 0V as you begin the run?
Some simulators are funny that way, forcing you to tell them what should be obvious.
I believe the non-infinity Roff of the switch causes the problem. Most simply, you'll check the "skip initial transient solution" option to overcome the problem.
