What are Design parameters of vivaldi antenna ?

I am trying to design UWB vivaldi antenna of range 1-6 GHz. Issues i am facing are about parameters relationship. How can i calculate antenna size ?
how to calculate exponential flare length , flare opening width, length of slotline, how to improve gain and which transmission line can i use ?
