FEM method for analysis of transmission lines using Matlab

i need some serious help in FEM method for analysis of transmission lines using matlab.i have no previous knowledge on analysis methods in depth and now my prof has given me work on finding beta value of a transmission line using fem method.and i have to come up with a matlab programme for this. can anyone help me out with resources please.
