Agilent ADS 2011.01 installation problems

Hello,

I am trying to install ADS 2011 trial downloaded from Agilent website. When, I try to install, I get the message - Previous version detected. Previously, I tried to install but then, because of OS issue, I re-installed windows and removed ADS altogether and tried installing ADS again. Still I get the same message, I tried ADS 2012, still the same prompt comes. Kindly help. I have attached screenshot.

Did you go in to "Reg Edit" and make sure the ADS software was deleted from there too ?

When you want to uninstall any ADS version on Windows you should always use the appropriate uninstall script from the Start Menu or via the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program and not just delete the ADS Installation folder. There is a fix for this situation mentioned here:

Nothing is working, Should I format the laptop all again ? I don't find any entries of ADS 2011.

Please read the article I linked to in my previous post. This gives instructions to find and delete "Zero G Registry" folder from the disc to fix the installation problem. The location depends on what O/S you are using. You are not looking for an ADS entry. This has been a known process in such circumstance for many releases of ADS now.
