ads edge mesh

Hi,

I am currently using ADS to simulate a spiral at 2.5GHz. At this frequency the skin depth of copper is around 1.3um thus i am wondering if i should set the width of the edge mesh to be equal, smaller or larger than the skin depth.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Try using a mesh density of 20cells per wavelength (for the highest frequency). Do check using higher mesh densities. If you are satisfied with the accuracy you are all set. :)

If you have 2005A try using thick conductor simulation. It is supposed to increase accuracy.
