Hello everyone,
I want to simulate a circuit which consists of some resistors[50ohm,1600ohm,10ohm],capacitors[10pF] and diodes. I need to check the S-parameters[S11, S21] from 1 GHz to 50 GHz of this circuit by using ADS Design tool. Is it right to just place an ordinary resistors, capacitors and diodes available in ADS Lumped components list to make a schematic?
First,I have to calculate the S-parameters at schematic level. Than I shall make the layout design of this schematic by using ADS Momentum. I used 50 ohm port termination at input/output port of my design.Than I computed S-parameters. Am I doing right so far?
Thanks in advance

What do you want to do ?
If your purpose is just ideal simulation, answer is right.
If you would like to simulate actual discrete components, use libraries which vendor provide.
Many vendor provide libraries for ADS.
