meta material unit cell simulation

hi i am prashant, simulating metasurface unit cell in hfss but i found many difficulty how much distant is you box from unit cell.
when i keep it at labbda/10 i didn't get satisfactory result.

i refer the distance between unit cell and rad box i keep it at lambda/4.
and please tell me how i extract the permeability and permittivity. I see many tutorial on youtube or internet of unit cell simulation but i didn't understand how they plot permittivity and permeability w.r.t frequency.
