How to find the radiation pattern of a single antenna in SuperNEC ?
if I have say for instance 4 antennas in a single model and I am simulating the entire model with SuperNEC. How cani find the radiation patern of only a single antenna at a time? Is this at all posible.
Cheers
Henri
you may simply replace the excitation of the other elements with a 50ohm termination (or give a very small value for the voltage as NEC does not accept zero volts). then you will have a single element pattern but with the effect of mutual coupling.
Ok, but since the problem involves scattering from motor vehicles passing through the antenna's beam, will the same method of terminating all other antennas still work. Furthermore this will also increase the simulation time by a factor of x (where x is the number of the antennas in the model / environment)

maybe I don't get the key!
You may build up another simulation with just a single antenna if you care about memory. The only reason that smb. may want to simulate an antenna in presence of other antennas is MUTUAL COUPLING.
