is there a free software for IBIS based interconnect simulation? pre-layout.
I would like to see how those components (represented by IBIS modell) what i use in my design behave in a specific hardware/ board or topology.
The transmission lines should be simulated by a field solver engine, to simulate for rise times, reflections and insertion loss accurately. transmission lines should be setted up by phisycal dimensions.
