HFSS people say to choose boundary at minimum dustance of lambda by 4 ...the mesh length can be done using lambda by 6.....the more smaller u go...more accurate the result but more is computation time...
so lambda by 6 is better...
So mesh length on the radiation boundary should be lamda by 6. But which lamda should I choose? I simulate from 2.5GHz-18GHz, for example, if I choose lamda at 15GHz mesh length should be 3.3mm, if I choose lamda at 3GHz mesh length should be 16mm. So the difference is too distinctive, which lamda should i choose??
By the way, if I seed mesh on the radiation boundary, do you think it is also necessary to seed mesh on the metal and substrate by manual, if necessary, how long should it be?
