excitation fdtd
Thanks.
There're many codes on toy's web.
I am wondering which version used Total/Scattered Field Formulation. More detail please.
Thanks.
you may read Taflove's book. you can introduce the plane wave by 1D incident field, then interploate the incident field on the line(surface) of Total field/scattered field.
Can you give the complete links?
Thanks and Regards,

You can find some code and many examples on that website. Good luck!
There is a free EM solver at http://www.emexplorer.net It uses planewave excitation with total field / scattered field formulation
Please check D. M. Sullivan (Electromagnetic simulation using FDTD method), its a well known book, you will find 2D and 3D using (total/scatter field) with a plane wave
I hope this help you if you need more information please contact me
