China Sales Director (Shanghai or Shenzhen, China)
Job Description Summary
芯得咨询(HI-talent)Client Company Inc. is seeking a senior level Sales Director and Country Manager for China to develop and manage a high performance sales organization.Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the China Sales Director is responsiblefor leading the sales team to accelerate profitable revenuegrowth. The preferred location for this position is Shanghai.Top candidates in Shenzhen will also be considered.
Key Responsibilites:
o Deliver sales and margin goals with effective sales strategies and initiatives.
o Build and enhance senior level relationships with decision makers at smartphone, tablet and wearables customers.
o Own and drive the China design win pipeline, shortening time to revenue and ensuring size of pipeline supports revenue growth targets.
o Forecast revenue from the design win pipeline to assist operations in ensuring the right supply mix.
o Establish and manage sales objectives by developing monthly and quarterly sales quotas for regions and individuals.
o Proactively stay ahead of changes in target market segments, customer base,and competitive landscape.
o Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of the sales organization.
o Manage, train and motivate distributors and channel partners effectively.
o Establish effective relationships and collaboration with other departments (Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.
Key Requirements
o High energy and ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team
o Excellent communicator whowins the confidence of both customers and employees
o Ability to quickly understand, summarize, and communicate customer needs
o Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Putonghua
o Exceptional negotiation skills
o Strong existing relationships with top smartphone and tablet customers in China
o Minimum 10-15 years electronic components and semiconductor sales experience in China, with focus on consumer and mobile communications markets
o Minimum 7 years of experience managing a direct sales force in multiple regions
o Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
o MSEE or MBA preferred
o A solid understanding of the MEMS marketis a plus, including trends, technologies, products, competitionand ecosystem.
o Ability to travel as required, estimated to be 50% or more.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales professional who is looking to advance their career with an entrepreneurial and dynamic organization. Reporting directly to VP of Sales, the Strategic Account Sales Manager is responsible for promoting 芯得咨询(HI-talent)Client Company motion sensor products and ensuring the achievement of sales goals and profitability objectives in defined strategic accounts. The Strategic Sales Manager – will manage key smartphone, and tablet key accounts in China. This position requires the Strategic Sales Manager to reside either in Shanghai or Shenzhen to cover assigned accounts.
o Actively promote 芯得咨询(HI-talent)Client Company products to branded customers and ODMs ensuring customers are knowledgeable about the products and actively pursuing design opportunities
o Coordinate with distributors to ensure ample backlog and inventory to service accounts within the assigned territory
o Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, ecosystem partners and internal stakeholders at all levels
o Create and maintain strategic plans to maximize chance of winning opportunities.
o Ensure the distribution of information and training to customers and distributors, and follow up with distributors in order to maximize sales opportunities
o Engage, quantify and report design and sales activities in key accounts
o Evaluate and report on competition activities within the territory
o Program manage key projects and act as escalation point to align internal resources to win designs
Key Requirements
o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferably in Electronic Engineering
o Minimum of 7-year experience selling to key Smartphone and Tablet accounts in China
o Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
o Results-oriented with proven track records
o Possess strong communication and negotiation skills
o Demonstrates a sense of initiative and autonomy
o Must combine strong interpersonal skills with drive and tenacity
o Available for frequent travel
