Responsibilities:
This person will drive to success, the customer designs that use Tegra chip and Tegra BSP.
Cradle to grave ownership of everything in SW starting with design review to program kick offs until release of products.
Interface with customers on software issues and conduct regular project status discussions.
Sole responsibility of driving key issues related to product and customer with software engineering, QA, Sales and marketing teams at NVIDIA to ensure success of the program.
Collaborating with the other teams to develop a Plan of Record (POR) that is feasible not only from a technical standpoint, but also from a schedule/resource/feature standpoint
Define and drive Key Performance Indicators that help define the spec the product needs to be built to.
Organizing and supervising development tasks and highlevel schedules
Track and drive all program deliverables including, software drivers/stacks, documentation and product certifications.
Drive customer and core SW requests, defects and design reviews issues within NVIDIA's software engineering team and act as a single point of contact within NVIDIA.
Provide technical feedback to the customers regarding the resolution of their issues and reviews of their specifications and requirements.
Facilitate and drive any technical discussions between NVIDIA teams, customers and third parties.
Be responsible for internally agreed schedules and communicate regularly with different teams about the time lines.
Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis (may include multiple projects) with regard to time, budget and quality.
Use project schedule and work breakdown structure produced from the methodology tool to guide team in the implementation of the project.
Provide continuous feedback to Project Team on status of project
Required Technical Skills:
In depth knowledge of software engineering principles Understanding of process to get mobile products to production preferred.
Hands on experience with Android/Linux SW development a huge plus.
Source control, project and defect tracking experience is a must
Hands on experience with GIT or other code version control systems.
Understanding of various release management and project tracking metrics
Experience with productivity tools and process automation in support of this role is a big plus
Knowledge of operating systems, power management is necessary.
