Former United States Securities and Exchange Commission attorney Willie Briscoe and the securities litigation firm of Powers Taylor LLP are investigating potential claims against the Board of Directors of Atmel Corporation ("Atmel") (NasdaqGS: ATML) concerning the acquisition by Dialog Semiconductor. Under the terms of the agreement, valued at approximately $4.6 billion, Atmel shareholders will only receive $4.65 in cash and 0.112 of a Dialog American Depositary Share per Atmel share owned.
