To install the PADS Free Viewer:
- Before installing the viewer, disable virus shields and screen savers. If your PC is unable to support Java-based installations, change your computer’s language setting to English.
- Download the viewer from http://s3.mentor.com/pads-free-viewer/pads-viewer-1.2.zip and save it to your hard drive. The file download size is approximately 142 MB.

- Use the Extract button to unzip the file. Save the contents to the directory of your choice, being sure to preserve folder names.
- Double-click the PADSVX.1.2_Viewer_mib.exe file found in the (unzipped) installation folder.
- Enter your Activation Code when prompted. Use Ctrl C to copy the Activation Code and Ctrl V to paste it into the Activation Code dialog box. Once installed, the PADS viewer will run without expiration. You may use it as long as you like.
