crystal radio wave trap

Hello,
I have a technical question about this crystal radio circuit

This uses an inline wave trap but the secondary is the main coil itself, is this right?

Also, Is it ok if the wavetrap is connected to the ground in its one end? Will it still considered as a wavetrap?
