1 meter rfid

My project is to develop a LF Active RFID system with 1 METER reading range.

I have did some online research but it's hard to found a LF Active RFID system.

My question is, is that possible to develop a Active LF system with 1 METER reading range?
I have a 125kHz RFID reader from my senior project, how should I implement it on my project?
