I have some serious doubts about vivaldi feeding mechanism in practical sense
KIndly clarify someone,,,its an open forum for discussion
I have designed an antenna (exponentially tapered slot antenna) in x-band (8-11 GHz) with 3 GHz bandwidth and 3dB beamwidth 130 deg in simulation in both planes./
Practically i am getting 3db beamwidth > 120 deg initially up to 9.5 GHz after that it starts decreasing and goes up to 100deg in h-plane but in e-plane i am not getting simulation results practically and lots of ripples are there.
Can anybody help me in resolving the problem
this work is quite serious for me ...kindly help..by sending some material and if possible some practical data on feeding and mounting mechanism and etc. etc.
