three way power combiner
I am working on splitter 1 : 4.
Freq 800-1000Mhz
Zo=10 ohm
I start with wilkinson 1 to 2 and cascade it twice.
But I have mechanical issue and because impedance very small (10 ohm) so my line very width.
Anyway I cannot to build it regular option So I remember that I saw some where
that it's possible to built splitter 1:4 direct.
I saw in microwave101
what i need help with resistor arrangements (in this case I have to use with 6 resistors!)
David
You should work on microstrip sector power divider, its very easy to fabricate on microstrip lines with no lumped components used and power and phase levels can be adjusted at outputs. If you need to work on it tell me i can provide you with its papers.
You mean to produce resistor with microstrip?
I have crossing with lumped will be easy, correct?
I mean designing a power splitter of 10 Ohm impedence. Its so easy. If i understand your question right. here are the two papers on microstrip power splitter.
Download it at

This config of resistors would work if you can tolerate 12dB loss/isolation

Hi,
I look and study the "Power Splitter papers"
but still i have a few question:
how or where this paper consider to impedance?!
and u said that u have what other paper!?
David
If I understood your problem right, maybe the attached picture of a n-way Wilkinson divider will help you. It's taken from "Microwave Engineering", 3rd Edition by David M. Pozar.
Yes I got it
But my question is how to put the Resistors in Layout?!
In the pic we have cross
This what i don't know!
David
Why did you say you have to use 6 resistors?
You have to layou the splitter similar to what's shown in the picture.
You have the via down or use jumpers.
I used this design for tubular splitters, where you can be more creative for the resistor connections.
Hi
You can do it with 2*zo resistor then will be 6
Or like proposed here 4 resistor of Zo.
I am afraid that if I will do it with jumpers or by via it will make a problem.
This power divider / combiner suppose to work with PA 500W!
And this splitter is in phase so each mismatch can blow up my PA!
Those i have doubts. regarding to the layout of resistors!
David
Ok, I get it.
That's a tough one, I shall ponder it, while my wife talks to me.
klo 2 output gimana..sy msh bingung antara pembagi daya atw pembagi impedansi sech..?
tolong klo bisa da yg membantu..trims..
