transmitter spectral density
I have run the transient simulation on a polar modulated transmitter.
How I can get the power spectral density of the output signal?
thanks in advance.

I'm not sure that I got your question right, but I think that you only have to compute the Fourier transform of the output time-domain signal.
I guess ADS can do this, but I haven't use it yet. I only used ADS to calculate phase noise.
Transient would be fine, but might be hard to analyze the results.
For polar modulation simulation you have to look to the output spectrum (ACPR) in frequency domain, and to the EVM.
You will see that when tuning the delay between phase and amplitude, the above parameters will change.
Hi Vfone,
thanks for the reply.
I want to know that what I can do with my transient output signal.
since the data is in time domain, I have to do some transform to get the spectrum.
But I am not sure how to do that.
Please help on that.
Thank you.
