it is called Quasi yagi antenna, there are some papers and other ressources on the subject, just google it.
Microstrip implies that you have a signal line over a big ground plane.
PCB does not mean Microstrip. I think the question refers to PCB yagi antennas like this:

To calculate characteristics of antenna, MMANA(free software) is very easy.
But it's not for an antenna on PCB. If effects of PCB can be neglected, you should use it.
