What is the full name of NIM tuner?

What is the full name of NIM tuner and Half-NIM tuner? ..and what is the difference between these two?

NIM(Network Interface Module), composed of tuner and demodulator.
Half NIM means only include Tuner RF part. Not include Demodulator in this CAN.
HALF NIM means LNA output is IF, and demodulator is on the other PCBs.
