regarding coverage area of an antenna,can someone provide the formula to use with the parameters needed.TY

one very good program for plotting field strength over a selected region is called Radio Mobile
do some google searching on that name and download the prog and have a play

Yes, Radiomobile is a very good software however it is intended for outdoor propagation. If you, instead need to estimate indoor or urban-area coverage you should refere to statistical formulas (eg. COST-231, Okumura-Hata, ecc)
