Hello everyone,
Could anyone suggest a method of generating a stable 13.56 MHz sine wave? I have used a VCO in the past for a UHF application but I am trying to stay clear of using smt.
I've looked into the possibility of using a colpitts oscillator but have not built one in the past... Are they pretty stable?
Regards,
Brian

Using a crystal controlled Colpitts osc at 13MHz will be pretty stable. For extra stability you can always ovenise the crystal so at to negate the enviromental changes in
temperature that would cause the crystal to otherwise drift.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for your respone. You're suggestion worked well.
Best,
