Looking for references and tutorials to HEMT MMICs

Hello there,
I am studying HEMT MMIC design and I find I really need to know the behaviors of HEMTs, like the bias, and large signal characteristics, and everything I feel. :P
I know something about CMOS, but have no idea about HEMT. Do they behave similarly? Does HEMT work in the forward bias region of its schottky contact? Could anybody show me some references or tutorials?
