connecting antenna to NXP UCODE

hi guys;

i have 3dBi gain patch antenna with 50 Ohm impedance and i want to connect it to NXP UCODE i2c .. it`s new IC from NXP with i2c interface.

1: do I need matching circuit for connecting antenna to this circuit or not?

2: if i have to have matching circuit, how can i find the impedance of IC ?

3: do you have any suggestion about better antenna?
