[MOVED] Designing radio transmitter and receiver

Need help designing a radio transmitter and receiver for voice communication between 2 buildings. any tips or ideas will be appreciated to give me an idea of what to do.

There are storebought walkie-talkies that will transmit several hundred feet.
They operate on batteries but you can attach a power supply if you know how to solder.

You would leave it sitting on the base in receive mode. To transmit you press a button.

The disadvantage is that anyone can listen in. They operate on a general use band.

For more money I believe there are scrambled walkie-talkies.

duplex communication ?

Yes full duplex communication and the two buildings are wired with RG58 cable. im thinking of using FM modulation and still thinking on which frequency. would appreciate any materials/websites or books that would help

i think you cannot use FM because licence problem
