Actually got some mistake in here "I plan to remove the original anntena coil and replace with another anntena coil to improve the reading range."
i plan to remove the original antenna coil of the 125kHz RFID reader and replace it with other antenna coil to improve the reading range.
so can i just improve the reading range like the below link

When You build Your new antenna and test it, then we can say if that antenna working better or not from original design.
can i use copper wire to build the reader antenna ?
Did You check links what I give You in post #2 ? Answer on Your question is there.
The 125KHz RFID transponders used in shopping stores utilize large coils on either side of an exit with lots of copper. Due to the low frequency, the size of the coils often indicates the range of detection with an RFID even with sensitive receivers.
The advantage is low interference with radio channels, but more expensive with large copper coils.

[/COLOR]thank for your advice. i try my best to work it.
Sounds like you are talking about EAS systems. They are using MHz frequencies, e.g. 8.2 MHz. https://www.edaboard.com/thread171282.html
It looks like the RF ID tags that energize a diode so that harmonic reflections can be detected for security . Some versions actually detected enough power to send a burst transmission. But the simplest versions just broadcast strong harmonics from resonant non-linear reflections.
The EAS system I worked on used 2 transmitters near the doorway. One carrier and one modulated with a 1khz signal.
The "TAG" had a stamped inductor with a single diode on it placed such that the inductor formed 2 tuned tank circuits.
One tuned to the mid range of the 2 transmitters and a second tuned for the sum frequencies.
They have a receiver set for the sum frequency and when a "tag" comes into the field it sees the 1khz tone and sets off the alarm.
Another system I worked on was the exploding money packet, similar concept but way simpler using magnetic fields.
Hi im looking for an rfid ciruit or antenna around 5feet or > range any other reference or anything to start on...and is it possible to make an antenna with a sphere range not just within line-of-sight thanks
